Parking... $12.00, Dinner... $23.00.... Awesome Day with our Friends... PRICELESS!!

Living in Florida is like living in Paradise... Especially when you get to hang out with great friends at the beach park!! I can't believe it has taken me a week to post this... especially since I had remembered to bring the camera!
Anyway, last weekend we met up with our friends, Belinda, Nathan, and Isabella. We met at the park on Clearwater Beach and we happened to be there at the right time for the sunset festival. Nate and Antonio hit it off like they have been friends forever! They have sooo much in common. The first thing I noticed is that they are both incredible big brothers! They are both kind, caring, and think the world of their little siblings. (Just a side note, Antonio and Nate are only 3 months apart in age... but several inches in height... lol.)
Isabella and Shane got along as well! Isabella was soo excited to be able to babysit Shane. She was a big help with him on the playground and pushing him in the stroller.

All the kids seemed to like the street performers... especially the fire juggler and then his son the "escape artist." (Belinda and I truly hope that the boys didn't get any ideas about ways to make money!!)

We walked to Crabby Bills and had a great dinner... I can't decide if most of Shane's dinner was on him or the floor! After dinner we squeezed in as much time as possible back on the playground... We literally had to pry Nathan from Antonio's grip, he wanted to bring Nathan home.
It was an Awesome day!!!!

Antonio talked about when he would get to see Nate again... everyday this week.... so
we were able to meet up with them today and we saw the movie Hotel for Dogs! (Well... I spent most of the time in the lobby with Shane, but the rest of the crew said it was a good movie!)

Enjoy the pictures from last Saturday.. I had soo many that we created two different scrap books. This allowed Antonio and I both to have our choice of designs... lol

Enjoying Life....

As most of you know... we travel frequently. The boys are really great travelers and we like to enjoy every minute of life... including those minutes in the airport. This is just a snapshot of what we do before we get on the plane. Enjoy!

Ok.. a little warmer now...... a whopping 28 Degrees!!

Earlier when I posted.. it was only 7 degrees... it has warmed up a whole 21 degrees. So Antonio decided that was warm enough to go "skating" in the creek.

And while I was typing the earlier post... Shane decided to have a little fun himself:

I'm sooo glad the boys know how to keep themselves entertained... LOL
... And for those of you who are impressed with 2 posts today... i have to ask what else is there to do when it's 28 degrees? (and yes we have already visited with the family up here... )

7 Degrees!!!!!!

This is the frozen water in the little creek!

Shane is wearing long johns and his sleeper...

Since the heat is on.. Antonio says he's comfortable in his pants and blanket.. no shirt required.. lol

Both warming up with some delicious McDonalds... (don't ask who had to go out to get it in this freezing cold.. )

I thought since we visit KY so much.. that our friends would like to see some of the scenery... Of course, this morning when we woke up it was 7 degrees. It does make us appreciate our lovely weather in Florida!!! ( i noticed Sid's camera is set with the wrong date.. i'll fix that before I take any more pictures)

Shane's First Haircut!!!

When you get a haircut, be sure to go back home
When you get a haircut, get a barber you have known
Since you were a little bitty boy sittin' in a booster chair
Or you might look like Larry, Moe or Curly if a stranger cuts your hair!

These song lyrics by Ray Stevens are words Sidney lives by! Sidney has always had his hair cut at the local barber shop. Dave's barber shop to be exact. Either Dave or his son Nathan cuts Sid's hair. Needless to say, Sidney wanted Shane's first haircut to be at his barber shop. So.. it was time for Shane to get a trim and I took him on January 2! After an almost 2 hour wait... (yep.. every guy in town was at the barber shop and I guess its always like that) Shane had his haircut! I was sooo proud of him! He sat in the booster chair and was good as gold. During the cut we gave him a lolli-pop and he enjoyed having candy. I have to admit his hair looks so cute, and Nathan the barber and the customers were so nice and friendly that it was worth the wait.

Enjoy the pics. (I tried downloading the haircut song, however, I experienced technical difficulties.)
