Festival of Trees November 07

It's still so hard to believe that a year has gone by! These pictures are from the Festival of Trees at the Paramount Theatre in Kentucky. It is a fundraising event. People decorate Christmas trees to auction off (and may we say for A LOT of money..)The trees are soo beautiful and each have a theme. Last year, Antonio's favorites were the angel tree and the money tree. I would have to say the snowman theme was one of my favorites! In addition to walking around in awe of the beautiful trees, Santa's on the stage taking pictures with all the kids while the elves serve cookies and cocoa! We are going to go to the Festival of Trees again this year... we can't wait! So stay tuned.. after our visit we will post this year's montage!!

Our Typical Saturday.....

This Saturday there was a stop at Toys R Us for a Bakugan Tournament..

Celebrating the victory... 6 to 0... United wins! Great game Antonio!

Antonio is now playing Club soccer.. so he has a game every weekend and sometimes a tournament. He is an Awesome player!! Shane is getting use to eating a pretzel, taking a nap, and cheering during the game. The hardest part for Shane is to not be allowed to go out there and play with his brother. Soon I will post pictures of Antonio playing, we need to bring the real camera, because the camera phone doesn't take far away pics (well not clearly anyway!)

It truly does amaze me that Shane is already 17 months old and Antonio is 10 and 1/2 years old!! How does time fly by soooo fast? Especially since we really choose to stop and smell the roses.....

Halloween...Past and Present!!

The boys had an awesome time on Halloween this year and last! Both years Antonio chose their costumes. Last year they were Ninjas and this year Shane was Darth Vader and Antonio was Darth Vader's Apprentice. (Other pics were taken of Antonio and Shane and we will edit this post when we get them.)
Antonio had a great time riding in the back of the pick up truck that Sidney was driving. Shane, Grandma, and I enjoyed the air-conditioned.. mosquito free car that we were riding in following the truck full of treaters!! What a blast we all had!! Antonio was pleased with his enormous bag full of CANDY!!!

Fall Fun!!

We truly enjoy fall! During this time of year, Florida actually cools off and its nice to be outside! We enjoy going to festivals and of course our yearly tradition of going to the pumpkin patch to find that perfect pumpkin! Our day with mom and grandma at the pumpkin patch was a lot of fun! Shane just loves to eat.. so he thought that's what the baby pumpkin was for... it was too funny.
