Happy Easter! (part 1)

I haven't blogged in a while... but I promise I have been thinking about it!
Easter came early for us this year! Well we celebrated it early because we all wouldn't be together today. When we were in Kentucky for spring break, the four of us enjoyed our family time together and celebrated life! Of course, the Easter Bunny made an early arrival! The boys had a great time hunting for eggs in the house. (In Kentucky, it was still cold... brrrrr.... too cold for an outdoor egg hunt.) Shane quickly grasped the concept that those little eggs meant CANDY!

Antonio and I created this slide show shortly after we were back in Florida, but I didn't have time to post it. I do have to give Antonio ALL THE CREDIT he created the slideshow and ALL the captions. He did a GREAT JOB!! After viewing the slide show, you too will notice that he LOVES CANDY!

We also celebrated Easter today and enjoyed the Jelly Bean Fling yesterday and those pics and post will be coming soon... so stay tuned for part 2..

Antonio says it best... the best part of any holiday is being with family! We missed Sidney today, but are excited that he is coming in on Tuesday!

Oh What A Wonderful Life!!!

We have been very busy since our last post. Sidney and Mandy flew in last Saturday, Sid was able to stay a few days and Mandy was on spring break all week!! We had a wonderful visit and were very sad to see them leave. We did some touristy things with Mandy, like eating at Bubba Gumps and going to John's Pass.

Today we met up with our friends, Jenna, Ryan, and the Nuggets; Charlotte, Ryan, and Santi; and Jen, Dave, and their soon to be boy, "Gator Bob!" We had a wonderful day! I think we were there for over 5 hours! Shane and Antonio really enjoyed playing with the babies and Santi! Antonio, as usual, was a BIG help with all of the babies (yes, I still consider Shane a baby... ) Antonio also had fun playing football with the adults and digging a huge hole in the sand. Shane and Santi enjoyed chasing the seagulls! Shane was also great with the younger babies... he especially was affectionate to Jillian ;) He held her hand and gently touched her face while she was sleeping. (Guess he is already following in his Dad's footsteps) We look forward to meeting up at the beach again soon!!

So with 7 adults, 1 ten year old, 2 toddlers, and 4 babies.... this is the stuff we all brought to enjoy our day. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Jenna and Ryan; they are sooooo calm and organized with their four beautiful babies!!!

When watching the slideshow, after the first picture appears, you can click on it and then a forward arrow will appear. (It is a really cool wave show, but it is slower than I had expected, so I use the arrows to click through the pictures!)

This is why we are called the Dynamic Duo Brothers!!!

This slideshow captures the love the boys have for each other and how much fun they have together. This morning, (pretty early for us) we were just hanging out at the house, dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. These truly are the best moments!

This slide show was a perfect fit, Antonio loves "hoops and yo yo" and the title is smile air. (Pretty good fit for us! )

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

It's Renaissance Festival Time!! Today was a perfect day... we had beautiful weather and we were with wonderful friends!!
Antonio and Shane totally enjoyed being with their friends~~ Nate, Allison, Isabella, & Gabe. And of course, I enjoyed hanging out with all of them as well as with Belinda and Kevin. There is soo much to see at the Renaissance Festival from the shows, to "normal" people dressed up, the vendors, and of course, the King, his royalty and even the peasants. This leads to great fun for the kids and some fun adult conversation for us!!

I think all of the kids enjoyed the fire show and watching the human chess match. They also enjoyed the great food and the unusual sights along the way.
